I have been working abroad too.

And your company is transferring you to a US position with short notice.

That is the typical textbook case for a DCF approval.  After you get married, contact the embassy there and see what they say.  Hope for the best but be prepared for the worst (regular CR1 process).

Good luck!

Does not have to be a company transfer, new job is ok.

Paul, thats why i was asking for advice to see if dcf was the way to go and what where my options, yes i am not marryng yet but will be next month and was trying to gather as much information that i could so i can build a case beforehand. and about the family member hiring me, in the original post i put " i have been applying to jobs" and in a seperate question i put "Can my brother hire me and give me the job offer notice" I wanted to know if that would be a problem since he's going to be my joint sponsor. I wasn't going to relay on him to get me hired.

I was in the same situation. The guide on this website says that you could contact the embassy prior to getting married and ask about the possibility of filing/what type of documents you need. I was told that they can only give me guidance when I am actually married. I did it and then it was fairly smooth after that.

In addition to the job offer, you would possibly need to list out the details on when you got it,etc. its not a regular filing, so every situation is going to be different.
