I would suggest using Western Union if transferring straight to a bank account. I used Remitly for years and switched to Western Union about a year ago, Bank to bank has no fee and the exchange rate is about 1 peso higher on average than Remitly. Western Union takes about 5 days to process the transfer when you first start with them. But eventually as a regular user it is less than 24 hours. Mine all go through in less than 12 hours.

We use Western Union and send the money in USD rather than peso. Then the recipient changes it to peso and usually gets a better exchange rate than what others offer.
