Oh What a relief this was... Approved.. No pending Name Check... :thumbs:

Was told to expect my card in the mail in 2 to 3 week! I AM SO EXCITED!

I was worried for nothing :whistle:!

7 months! Not too bad! Thanks for all the good advice.. I didnt ask many questions but I sure read and learned a lot!

Good luck to all those waiting!

Hi Nunya,

Congratulations!!! Not only an approval, but no name check limbo - cool!!! BTW, I see you had your interview in San Diego - how was the officer/interview in general?

I know the whole wait thing/no touches must have seemed awful but its all in the past - and the lawyer we consulted (great guy, didn't use him though) kinda suggested that for LA/CA it would also be a four month thing...sigh, not really....

You'll have to tell us when you get the card in the mail!

Cardamom - The officer I got was really nice and everything went smoothly... I was a lot less nervous than I anticipated... Until she asked me for my birthday and I completely gave her the wrong day! But I'm sure she knew it was nerves... Since we got approved minutes laters!

I would say it took all of 15 minutes, at most!

I would say it took all of 15 minutes, at most!

Nunya, giving her your wrong birth date made me laugh :lol: It's something I'd do 'cos I'd be concentrating so hard on answering the "tough" questions!
