transfer to local office ?

I am confused?!!!

Next week tuesday I do have my interview in the Phoenix, AZ office. Untill now my case has been at the MSC. I only had a touch june 21st, but no changes. Am I not supposed to get a notice that the case has been transfered to Phoenix?

I see that in many timelines, but not on my Uscis website.

I hope it didn't get lost in the mail. I guess it needs to be there next week for the interview, or am I mistaken?

Any help welcome.

We do have copies of everything we've sent in, but am wondering want is going on?

I had an interview in San Antonio last week and never received any email or letter about transfers. My last touch according to the USCIS site is still 6/21/07 , there are others here who have had their GCs for some time and still no touches.

Don't worry They will have everything there. Just remember the things you need to take and don't worry about anything else.

if you received the interview letter, then your case has been transfed to the local office. best of luck with the interview.

I never got notified that my case was transferred to my local office. All you see is that your file has been touched, after your biometrics. You've nothing to worry about. Once your get your interview letter, you should know that they already have your file at the local office. Good luck.

In essense this is true, but its also true that the interview letter is often sent before the case file is physically transferred to the local office. I know this because a friend of mine had his interview delayed (for real) because his case file hadn't shown up at the local office so they couldn't do his interview on the date they gave him.

But I meant generally the letter shows that the file has transfered or will BE transfered to the local office.

We also did not get a transfer notice but now we're done!

The moral of this thread is that you only get email transfer notices when your case is transfered to another service center, e.g. the CSC.
