I just called NVC and the automated system says that "they have reviewed the forms and found some information missing or incomplete." It also says that they have a sent me a letter on July 2. I talked with the operator and he said that there is no problem with my I1864 and this message means that they are requesting DS230 from me. I have sent the IV fee bill last week. Is this the standard NVC message telling me that my DS230 has been generated or the operater at NVC didn't know what he was talking about? :help:

its just an automated letter they send to tell you about the IV fee bill.I got even after I sent the bill and I called them to know what should I do with it,they said just ignore it if you're already sent the IV bill. :)

No you can't send anything till you recieve the packet 3 form DS230.you should call and talk to an operator he will tell you if they generated the form DS230 or not.

again don't send it before you recieve the packet cuz if you did it will cuz dely in your case.

when you get a message you don't understand, always talk to an operator!

I got the info missing message several times as well and it turns out nothing was missing at all. Sometimes it was just that not all of my paperwork was received yet (because they hadn't generated it yet), and other times it was just because it wasn't all in the system yet.

Thanks. This is what confused me. How could they say that my paperwork is missing if they haven't even generated it yet? The message sounds like I was missing something from the I864 package since I sent it two weeks ago.

I got the same messages when I was at the NVC level. I called and talked to an operator and she informed me that the I-485 goes to one department and it showed that the DS-230 was missing when it actually is sent to another department. Both documents were at the NVC but in different departments. Once they showed all documents completed the system told me to allow up to 6 weeks of review time and it actually was less than 4 weeks. Good luck on the remainder of your journey.

Operator is right. So don't worry. You can send DS 230 when the automated system would say" NVC is waiting for the biographic information." That time, you can be sure that your Ds 230 is generated. Send DS 230 packet at that time.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview
