I applied for my wife and completed it September of '20 for an interview date at the US embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan. When can I expect an interview date? In a year? 2 years? I have been waiting for 8 months now with no update on anything and coronavirus definitely made the whole process a nightmare with delays after delays due to limited staffing it keeps mentioning.

What date were you DQ’d in September? I heard someone who was DQ’d September 9th, 2020 just had their interview and visa approved today.

We was dq in September 2020 and we are ir1, why are they passing us?

They’re not. I’m sorry for the misinformation. The person who told me didn’t say that they expedited it. Which later I found out that they did. So the embassy and NVC is still going in the order they DQ’d the cases. Right now they’ve done upto august 13 Dqs. We’re expecting the next batch to come either later this week or early next week. I also have a theory that everyone is receiving their IL’s before they hit one year of being DQ’d. I’m also sept DQ and I’m sure that we will get the letter before we reach the DQ date this year.
