Earliest Appt Sydney..

I was getting super anxious it still said Ready even though the interview was Dec 10 and the medical was Dec 13 and the medical was sent on Dec 23 and arrived on like the 10th. But today it went from "Ready" (last updated Dec 20) to "Administrative Processing" (updated Jan 24). Now I hope it becomes "approved" soon!

Aww man. My medical got there in December and still nothing. Maybe they missed me.

We are being ignored now. I don’t believe we will be getting a visa at all. I bought plane tickets to see fiancé in Australia.

My medical report has been MIA since December. I only found out yesterday, that it was sent to the Melbourne Consulate instead of Sydney, by Sonic Health. So now I'm waiting for Sonic Health to send a copy of the report to me, so that I can then send it to Sydney myself. Maybe then my case will be processed. 🤦‍♀️

Also, has your partner contacted the Sydney Consulate to ask if there's any paperwork that they're possibly waiting for? It's what I did, and how I found out that they were still waiting for my medical report.

My visa also got issued today! I interviewed in December and they received my docs by mail Jan 10. I hope everyone gets theirs asap!

First time poster. We are currently in Sydney  waiting for the consulate to reach out about availability for an immigrant visa appointment. We’ve been DQ since august 2021 and did not have any appointment booked pre lockdown or relocation of the consulate. 
 

Does anyone know when the consulate in Sydney will restart immigrant visa interviews and when we might get a spot? Sorry, I realise it’s a very open question but we have no idea if it will be weeks/months/years!

Yeah. They have everything. They are saying it’s taking time due to covid. Considering everyone is getting their visa but us I’m sure we will probably never get it. I’m here in Australia now visiting. It’s too bad I’ll have to leave again next week and endure more waiting and pain.

Its so inconsistent. They started sending some of us to Melbourne to clear their backlog. Then finish processing in Sydney for any administrative processing. What do they say when you contact them?
