They have just replied to me. They said that my medical report should "be being sent to me directly in a sealed envelope". When received by me, to then send it to Sydney to the specified address.

So tomorrow morning, I will need to call Sonic Health to find out what has happened to it. Then email Sydney to let them know, as they said that they will follow it up if required.

This whole process just keeps dragging on. But at least I know that progress is being made.

Yeah same thing happened to us but we caught it one week after our interview. We sent it next day and was received there before Christmas. I’ll update how long it’ll take from receive to visa issue.

I called Sonic Health a week after my interview, to ask about the status of the medical report. I was told that it was sent to Sydney electronically. Just to be certain that it was indeed sent, I emailed Sonic, to be told that it was sent by Express Post the previous day. So I assumed (wrongly it seems) that either way, it was indeed sent. I called Sonic this morning to find out, but they are closed until January 4. So I emailed both Sonic and Sydney this morning, and will have to wait for Tuesday to see what transpires.

The delays just seem to be never-ending 🥴

I asked the consulate realistically how long it should take and they replied within ten minutes indicating that it would normally take 15 business days to process the visa but with COVID right now, it’s extending this timeframe and they wish they can give me a definitive date but they cant. I know not the best answer but I was happy to hear from someone so quickly and it wasn’t an auto generated email.

When did you mail your docs to the consulate. I had a terrible time at my interview early dec (they basically told me i was a liar bc of a fault in their system) and I have had to send all my docs in again to the consulate. I am sick of waiting for this and on them.

We sent the medical on the 18th and confirmed that they got them a couple days later.

Hi. No we haven’t. I’ll update as soon as we do. It’s been two weeks since they last updated our case on CEAC. 😕

We’re at 11 business days. They say 15 business days or a little longer due to covid delays. I’m hoping next week we hear something.

My case status on CEAC has been updated today. It's still showing as 'Refused'. I don't know what to make of that. ☹

Breathe!!  It usually goes Administrative  processing then Refused then maybe AP again then Issued.  Seems like  they have some multi purpose categories that dont always “fit” the process 😁

Thanks! I'm moving between being excited and optimistic to feeling nervous and impatient 😄 Also hoping so hard that it will be approved this week! Am I being too hopeful? 🤔

To have it move away from Refused will be such a great feeling.

:( No update here. Interview Dec 9. Last case update Dec 29.

Mine was updated yesterday, but it stayed as refused. I checked this morning and it hasn't changed.

My interview was also on December 9, but my case creation date on CEAC is April 20. Is that actually wrong? I have no idea.
