As for me, I was neither approved nor denied this morning. I didn't have the originals of my partner's divorce decrees, so he needs to obtain them and send them to me via express post. Once I receive them, I will then have to mail all of the paperwork and my passport, to the Sydney Consulate. Once there, they will be processed and I'll get a yes or a no.

He said they kept his passport and said that the medical would be sent to Melbourne so he gets it there.

Has your CEAC status updated at all? Ours still says "ready" and last updated 13-Dec which is when  he had the medical.

See, I wish ours would say refused? It still says "Ready" as in referencing a scheduled interview. But it was updayed as of 16-Dec. I'm like, please, at least go to Refused for admin processing...

Still waiting for ours to change from Refused. I wish the holiday break would hurry up and end!

Exactly the same situation here. I've been in Melbourne for 23 days now, had my interview on the 9th. As much as I love Melbourne, I'm more than ready to start moving on. Once the Consulate reopens, they had better not waste any time in processing our visas, especially after all the time that we've been forced to wait.

Seeing my case status as 'refused' is both disheartening and disappointing.

I received an email today from Sydney. I was asked to provide the date that my medical report was completed by the panel physician. I replied with the date of my medical examination, and explained that I was not given the report itself, but was advised a few days later that it was sent electronically, then when calling Sonic Health to clarify that it had been sent, was told that it had been sent by mail.

So I hope that Sydney actually does have it! Is it okay to start feeling hopeful now?

At least they are working on them! Let’s stay hopeful. I think ours was the same day. Your comment makes me feel hopeful.

They have just replied to me. They said that my medical report should "be being sent to me directly in a sealed envelope". When received by me, to then send it to Sydney to the specified address.

So tomorrow morning, I will need to call Sonic Health to find out what has happened to it. Then email Sydney to let them know, as they said that they will follow it up if required.

This whole process just keeps dragging on. But at least I know that progress is being made.
