I-129F form Fiancé Passport Photo

HI guys,

The Cover letter ( referenced in K1 thread ) had suggested to include passport photos of both.

I dont have Fiancé's passport photo.  It will take DHL 1 wk + $200 to send original passport photos.

 

It was impossible to create a passport photo off the digital version which I got from my love.

 

Please advise...

Can you take new photos at a photo center? It is what my fiancé did and emailed to me..

It’s a requirement to send passport photos of both. If photos don’t adhere to requirements, they will send you an RFE. I (the beneficiary) went to a photo salon to have it taken and sent that to the petitioner digitally, he went and printed it out at Walgreens.

As others have said, it's fine for your fiancé(e) to send you an image file (either get the file from a photo center, or use a passport photo app) and you print out the photo at home, via an online service, or at a store.

 

I used walmart.com for Anastasia's (she got them taken in Russia and sent me a file).

We live in a digital world and there are many free image manipulation apps that will help you get it done.  Nothing is impossible

Yeah my local walgreens made a huff (i dont think the lady was in the correct mood for the day) so I ended up using an online tool to make it into a 4x6 of passport type pictures and printed that at the other store down the road.  I then cut out the one and went from there.  I even measured once just to make sure before I sent it off.

SO I misread the instructions a bit. My fiance took pictures and sent them via email, I just printed them off at home, lined it up with my older passport pic, and then cut it. I used regular paper (mistake I made, but did not get an RFE), but you can use photopaper
