Military Dependent Expedite Naturalization

Hi everyone! I would like to ask here if there is someone who got their expedited naturalization done while living overseas? Military and families are allowed to do it so as long as you have a proof that you will live on that country more than 6 months and on my case, We will be here in Spain for 4 years. I filed my expedited naturalization last month and I checked the USPS status that the Chicago lockbox received it April 12. I used our APO mail so I am pretty sure they knew it comes from the military base.

Now my questions are:

1st, Why I haven't receive my receipt yet? Since it's been more than a month. I am worried my application is lost.

2nd, How long does it takes for the naturalization for military dependents overseas?

Thanks in advance for peope will put an input in these! 😊

Oh wow, i just sent my package last week and it still hasn’t arrived. i guess i will be waiting for a receipt for a while ...

from what i have seen, it could take only a couple of months to even like 6-8 months, but it seems the cases that take longer had a pending roc.
also, because of covid receipts are taking longer on all applications. I thought it wouldn’t affect our type of application but i guess it was also affected.

Where you at right now? I also thought the same thing that military won't be affected since it's also a government. But Yea I think we are also affected on this. I am just worried about it since Idk if ever they sent it back for RFE or anything, And I am using an FPO address if it will ever get here😅

I’m in Europe as well! :) what field office did you choose? I went with the Washington D.C office. I hope you get the receipt soon, let me know when you receive it please! 🙏

Hi. I submitted packages for n400 under INA 319b end of March this year but still no receipts or any notification from USCIS. I checked USCIS cashed out our money order though.  Anyone has gotten any response from USCIS? It seems taking so much longer than usual.

That’s strange. When did they cash your check? I received my receipt about 2-3 weeks after they received my package.

I sent my package through my lawyer back in the end of March and I had same problem. I put APO mailbox address as mailing address and never gotten anything from USCIS. But I found out few weeks ago that my lawyer got the receipt in May. My case is being actively reviewed since September. Think they have some mailing issue to military bases

If you send stuff through a lawyer you don't need to wait for mail to you. Everything will only go to the lawyer.

Actually there is an option to have USCIS send notice letters to both lawyer and me.
