Listing supplemental asset in Affidavit of Support

Hello,

 

For affidavit of support, if the petitioner's income listed in Tax Transcript is over the required poverty line but not by much, would you recommend including supplemental asset such as stocks?

 

We understand it's optional but we thought it could help the case. The petitioner is self-employeed and made around $35k each year as reported in last three years' of tax return. 

 

Household size is 2

Probably not necessary but can't hurt to list and document some liquid assets.
