I’m trying to fill out the form to petition my father and it’s asking for travel document number but he lost his old passport and he does not have that information. It’s been 11 years since the last time he was here in the US as a tourist visa. Would it be a problem if I leave it blank?

Leave the travel document number blank or write "Not Applicable" if you want.

Does your father have a new passport?  If so, enter that passport's number in the I-130.  If not, write "Unknown - Lost passport" or something to that effect in the box for "Passport Number".

[EDIT]  By the way, you are a US citizen, right?  I ask because this is the "Family of LPR" sub-forum and LPRs cannot petition for parents.
