My fiance is coming to visit in about 10 days. We are working with a lawyer and he is recommending that she brings the following information with her

- My recent paystubs

- My bank statements

- Proof that I have a house

This seems awfully invasive. Has anyone else needed to supply all of this personal information? I'm not entirely comfortable supplying such sensitive and personal information. I have a home and I make good money. But, I just feel uneasy about sharing that personal information in the world we live in.

We received our NOA2 about a month ago and she has roundtrip tickets. We would be fools to try and do anything illegal after waiting 8 months just to receive the NOA2. We also have a letter from our lawyer confirming our intent for her to travel back home after her 6 week visit. I would think that would be enough. Am I wrong?

Just as well she has a visa.
