EDV selected but name mistake

Hello expert,

Im from Nepal, i have been selected for the EDV lottery 2022 with earlier case number but i have got one problem that my name on my all supporting documents are with the spelling Deepak but in while fill the edv form i made mistake that i wrote Dipak instead of Deepak . so im very much worried . how do i fill  the DS 260 form .plz kindly suggest me the solution. how can i correct it . is it  possible to correct it or not?

They are normally quite understanding about different spellings when names are transliterated from another alphabet.  (Note: there is a small chance the officer could disqualify if the name is different from the passport as the rules are to use spelling exactly as passport.)

For DS260, fill in your name as per passport, birth certificate etc and put the other spelling under “other names used”.
