My I-485, I-131 got the Rejection notice...

reason being that is because I-130 hasn't been recived yet.

I checked on the mail delivery date, the recived date on I-485 was on June.20 and I-130 was recieved on the 25th in Texas.... Will it effect the processing on I-485? was that the reason my I-485 got reject??

somebody please help me..... :help::help::help:

I think you were supposed to send everything together to the Chicago lock box. I am sure someone else who knows more about this will respond soon!

You are absolutely correct, I-130 should be in the same envelope as I-485 if concurrently filing.

The solution to this is to wait for the I-130 receipt notice from Texas, and then resubmit the I-485 application, this time attaching a photocopy of the I-130 receipt notice.

To the OP, your info says you have a K-1, why are you filing I-130? Did you not marry within the 90 days.

Your profile shows K-1, I dont understand fully what you mean. I-130?

Only case for I-130 is if you are either adjusting for K-3, and the I-130 would have been sent way back before the K-3 would have been issued.

Or if you are adjusting from another visa type, like student, or work visa, in this case I-485, and I-130 get sent to Chicago in the same envelope. If you did not do that you will have to wait for NOA1 or perhaps NOA2 from the I-130 and send a copy of that in with the I-485.

YuAndDan,

JWAN's husband was apparently in the USA on a student visa, and after marriage left the country without AP. She is apparently one very confused person - why she would submit an I-485 after he's gone is beyond me.
