Hello all! I'm trying to gauge how much longer we might have to wait for an interview. We are applying for an Ir1 spousal visa (green card), and as of May 13, 2020 we were Documentarily Qualified at the NVC and just waiting for an interview in Ciudad Juarez. I'm wondering about people who have been given appointments in Juarez, how long was your wait time from when you DQ'ed to when they scheduled your appointment? Thanks in advance!

Oh boy. I knew they were slow but this is a whole new level. Thanks for responding, I really appreciate it! I hope you get your appointment soon!

My husband had been waiting for his interview since the summer of 2019.. and he finally got his appointment this month! Be patient we felt we were never going to get to this point especially when COVID hit but the day came and so will yours!

Thank you so much for your response! I'm so glad you finally got your appointment. Covid has certainly slowed down an already super slow process. Thanks again, I appreciate it! (do you mind if I ask what month specifically your husband was documentarily qualified?)

I’ve been qualified by NVC since July 23, 2020 and still haven’t heard nothing back ☹️

My husband was qualified by NVC on June 24, 2019. A month before you. He is in Juarez at the moment for his interview! I hope you soon get a notice for yours as well.

While waiting for the appointment was your husband in the United States?
