Hi! it has been over 24 weeks (j1 hardship waiver)

DoS hasn’t responded to my email yet. It has been 10 days. I emailed them on week 24 reminding them that this the last week of their “processing time.” Is it possible that they won’t reply to me since it was not outside processing time? They haven’t yet asked for sponsor views!!   Now of course it is outside processing time. Should I email them again or should I wait for their 15-20 schedule to respond to emails. Please help. I also submitted a congressional inquiry (it was processed the same day) and it has been 10 days and I haven’t heard anything yet. Ugh!

They have been taking longer then used to request for Sponsor views, Dos received my forms from USCIS in December and they sent a request for Sponsor views in September and then Dos received sponsor views on December and then I received DoS’s recommendation by April.

Hopefully you they might do your process speedily.

Thank you! Yeah I noticed the delay in some cases. Other cases, however, moved faster or on schedule. I don’t know why some cases get their attentions while others don’t.
