That's a breather. 

Im on a AOS facebook group and I noticed two couples had their appointment in September and one this month. They has both sent their AOS in Jan of this year... but one has a military husband, so maybe thats why? 

Im just hoping it picks up soon...🤞

I have expedited my EAD and just got the notification today that "New card is being produced!".

Marriage based GC (USC) - FO Nashville

5/21/21 - PD

5/20/21 - Mailed to Chicago Lockbox

5/21/21 - Received

6/14/21 - 485/130/131/765 NOA received via Mail

7/23/21 - Received Biometrics Appointment

8/09/21 - Biometrics Taken (Atlanta)

8/17/21 - Case is ready to be scheduled for an Interview

9/21/21 - Expedited I-765

9/23/21 - Request for Evidence for I-765 Expedite

9/29/21 - Evidence faxed to USCIS

10/07/21 - Evidence for Expedite Request Received

10/11/21 - I-765 New Card is being produced

Not at all.

 

I filed the expedite via Emma talking to a live agent. Expedite request was made based on financial hardship.

 

2 days later I received the request per evidence via e-mail. I then faxed my evidence a week later because I needed the job offer in writing. I also attached medical bills from my daughters birth and the birth certficate (she was born after we filed).

 

So job offer + medical bills that showed financial hardship. I think they are denying expedite requests nowadays solely on job offer.

5/20/21 - Mailed to Chicago Lockbox

5/21/21 - Received

6/14/21 - 485/130/131/765 NOA received via Mail

7/23/21 - Received Biometrics Appointment

I am a healthcare worker so I applied under humanitarian/emergency reasons.

 

On September 13th I contacted my local congressperson using an online form. On September 14th I used Emma to put in an expedite request because I figured I might as well get the ball rolling somehow. Around September 20th I heard back from my congressperson's office and was told they couldn't really do anything (but then I got another email around one week later from the congressperson's office asking me to fill out a USCIS privacy form, so I kind of got mixed messages). Then on October 13th I contacted one of my state's senators and the next day I got an email from them asking me to fill out a USCIS privacy statement. I sent the senator's office the privacy statement and proof of my licensure just in case it was relevant.

 

This morning I was notified that my expedite request was approved. One hour later my status changed to "new card is being produced". USCIS never contacted me for additional info.

 

It's slightly convoluted but I'm fairly certain it was the inquiry from my Senator's office that pushed my case forward to be reviewed rather than my congressperson's inquiry (which may or may not have even been sent).

Yesterday I got update my EAD card has been ordered and today, both I-751 and I1-31, changed to "Case was approved"
Good look to you all - they are processing May's EAD so hold tight!

  • 5/21/2021 Received text/email messages with case numbers
  • 5/22/2021 Checks cashed
  • 5/28/2021 NOA letters on mailbox - PD is 5/4
  • 7/02/2021 RFE letter in mailbox
  • 7/23/2021 Bio letter in mailbox - Bio scheduled for 8/9/2021
  • 7/29/2021 USCIS received response to RFE
  • 8/09/2021 Bio appt + I-693 Notice in mailbox same day

Didn’t expedite. It looks like they are processing May’s EAD applications based on VJ timeline and lawfully (I see other people from May also had EAD approved)
