Hello,

i submitted a i130 for my spouse two weeks ago. I just saw the fee is pending with my bank. my app was mailed to the lockbox in TX and i paid with a card; not a check. i was just wondering how much longer it will take before i get a receipt number? what does it mean that the fee was charged? does it mean that my app was accepted? could it still get rejected?

The bank charge means the I-130 is accepted.  A receipt number should be coming soon.  You can still receive RFEs.

go to the word portal and check timelines and posts from others dealing with Senegal for the best answers

since you are dealing with Africa and a high fraud country (like we did) you are looking for at least 10 months in the 1st stage (USCIS stage)

Get ready for a year and longer for the whole process to be completed with no or little info from immigration as to what is happening unless u get a RFE

waiting is now your daily norm

Just got my receipt number last night via text. Case status shows that the notice of action was e.ailed but, I haven't received any email. Will that email give me an idea of how long this could take. I heard that they contain a wait number
