Hello! I have my citizenship interview scheduled for June 2nd and the notice states that I have to be in the US for at least 14 days before the appointment because of COVID and all the safety around it. I have some travels planned and I am wondering what I should do after my interview.

1. From what I've read so far, the Tampa location doesn't do same-day oaths and I've heard also that it takes 2-4 weeks to even get a notice about the oath ceremony. So, my question is, does the oath ceremony notice also state that I have to be in the US for at least 14 days before it?

2. Also, I am allowed to travel outside of the country between the interview and the oath ceremony, right?

3. I am becoming US citizen AFTER taking the oath so therefore I can still use my Polish passport to travel until I have the oath appointment, right?

4. Would I cause myself any issues if I left the US after my citizenship interview? I did meet all the physical presence requirements a long time go so this is not a concern of mine.

Thanks in advance

Don't know. Is there a 14 day quarantine policy where you live?

How soon after? To fly from/to the US, you are expected to have a US passport.

Physical presence of US citizens is not a requirement. You have a constitutional right as a citizen to spend as much or as little time in the USA as you want.

If they are putting a 14 minimum requirement on your interview letter you can bet it will also apply to the Oath.

Yes you can travel between interview and oath, but if you're not back with the minimum 14 days before your oath be prepared to reschedule your oath.

Correct you will not be a USC until after your oath and have your certificate in your hands.

Should be no issues to travel you will have to update them of your travel at the oath ceremony. That is as long as you have the 14 days in the US before the oath.
