send them

do what immigration wants or your case will be in limbo and nothing will happen

 

and before you scan them ,  write in the upper right hand corner your case #,  both names and both DOB's so NVC knows where to add them in the system

Call them. The documents are reviewed by computer. If they dont match perfectly or computer having bad day it wont accept them. Sometimes it needs a “human review”. Happened to me with one of my documents. Its pretty easy to get someone to review by hand. Just call and explain situation to NVC.
