Thank you. It seems like a lot of people are having this experience lately, where USCIS is being more efficient than ever to make up for the delays this past year. I hope you have a quick process too :)

congratz! Good to see another Albany filer here.

I applied online for citizenship on 16 May 2021, and I have my biometrics appointment tomorrow. My local office is Chicago so I was expecting a long wait before hearing anything, also my i751 is still pending (waiting for an interview since March 2020).

I am really pleased and surprised to see how fast this process is going for a lot of people, congratulations to all who had their oath ceremony already!

Oh God! What a beautiful day! I even don't know where do I start lol

I was scheduled for my interview at 830, so came in at 815, at 825 was called by the officer, the officer was extremely nice, asked me 6 questions, then asked me to read "where is the white house" and to write the white house is in Washington DC. Then went over my n400, at 835 he told me congratulations, please wait in the waiting room, at 9 exactly my name was called by another officer who was holding my naturalization certificate in his hand, so he took me into a room and read the oath, I repeated after him the full oath, then he gave me my certificate, said congratulations and took me outside, I left the building at 9 10, then I ran to DMV and upgraded my real ID driver's license to enhanced driver's license for US citizens only (I maid an appointment for it online a week ago) then I ran to the passport agency and apply for a first time passport, it will be ready in 15 minutes, (made an appointment by phone by waiting over 3 hours on the line 2 weeks ago)

So this is pretty much it

Guys! I truly hope from the bottom of my heart that all of you will get your certificates soon! I wish luck to each of you! Please text me or call me at any time if you have any questions, I'm always here to help as much as I can!!!

Don't put to much weight on it, they are trying hard to call people that have I751 and N400 for the interview, hopefully soon they will call you for the combo interview and you will be approved for both of them on the spot, like a lot of people were, just wait!!!

Sent mine via mail last Saturday and arrive at po box yesterday. Thats all i know as of now

Waiting war begins!

Hi tomigaoka,

I too filed via mail in late May, 24th for my aunt because it was a fee-waiver request application.

6/12/2021 I received the USCIS Account Access Notice

8/30/2021 I received an appointment for Biometrics.  My Aunt likely does not have fingerprints on file as she came in the mid-80s (an era when your GC does not expire and confuses some INS folks when they see that version).

9/20/2021 is the Biometric appointment date

Came online to compare notes on dates/timelines with other May 2021 filers.

And any that filed by mail (yourself)

And any that were fee-waiver type

And any for any long time GC holder  (she applied for N400 in 90s but failed the English and never bothered to re-apply til now).

Hi everyone,

So i filed by mail, and I was cheking my account today and it says they sent me a receipt notice. I have read that you can see your notice on a ‘document’ tab on your uscis account, so I tried that but instead of a receipt notice there is a scan of a document I submitted under “additional evidence” as if I had submitted that online somehow. Did they make a mistake, or checking your receipts online is not available for those who filed by mail?

Hi lscir,

I too filed by mail (for my aunt), and when I received the initial letter it was "USCIS Account Access Notice" which I used to register online and entered the Receipt Number.

Now when i login online, in the 3rd tab "Documents" I see 3 sections with the following items below.

NOTE: I do NOT see a copy of my mailed application, whereas you said you see "a scan of a document I submitted".  Was your document your mailed application?:

USCIS Notices

File Date Sent Action
Appointment Scheduled.pdf  August 30, 2021
N/A
Account Acceptance Notice.pdf  June 12, 2021

Your uploads

You may upload additional evidence that you believe may assist USCIS in adjudicating your application, even if the evidence was not specifically requested. USCIS will consider the timeliness and relevance of unrequested evidence when making a decision about your case.

File Document Date added

It’s not my whole application they uploaded, it’s a random page of a document I sent so that’s why it was so strange to me. It’s on the unsolicited evidence tab but I didn’t submit anything online. I guess someone made a mistake.

also I didn’t get a letter to create an account, just the receipt notice by mail. But I also had an online account that I created during my I-130 process (also filed by mail). I don’t have my receipt notice on my uscis account but at least I already got the physical letter :)
