Help! So overwhelmed learning about importing car to US

My truck was financed through TD Auto Finance.  They have Canadian and US outfits, so I was able to import with no issues.  Not common though.

This is the key - importing PERMANENTLY.  It needs to be clearly stated that they will allow it.
