Greetings ,

I did submit the requested files on CEAC  , Everything got approved and completed . However i was asked to replace 2 items out of 6 ( Birth certificate - Marriage Certificate )
I did replace them on march 2020 , and their status are submitted since then and never got changed .
Any Help regarding that please cause i have no clue what is going on there .

short staffed because people (even in USCIS) have been sick with covid

but even before the covid USCIS and NVC were slow to update (if at all) the sites

I'm assuming that you haven't been Documentarily Qualified yet, right? I think this is an instance where you just have to continue to wait for them to get back to reviewing your case. Sorry, friend.

You're welcome to send a request via the "Ask NVC" option on CEAC, maybe they can answer with something. Over a year is an excessive time to wait, I agree. I'm sorry you're going through this.

The direct link to the NVC inquiry form is here:

If I were in that situation, I would send an inquiry to verify what else is needed in order for your case to be Documentarily Qualified. And if it was Documentarily Qualified, you would want to know when that happened and when the status will be updated on CEAC.
