Hey guys, Just wanted to pop in and say hi. I am so sorry I haven't been in touch but I appreciate all the congrats and well wishes by PM's and emails.

Chris and I got married on June 23rd. The whole weekend was amazing and our 150+ guests enjoyed themselves as well!

Chris' family came from England for 1 week before the wedding and for a week after. I have a millions of pictures and I will share them once we get them on my computer.

Things are amazing! But we are both extreamly tired! Just starting to slow down now!

Thanks again for all your help...and continued thanks for the help you'll give in the future!!!

P.S. I have about 800 tetley tea bags that Chris' fam left us their visit and a brand new tea kettle!! Chris is happy! :)

Congratulations on the wedding!

Have you gone on your road trip yet?

Nope, we are going in Sept. Needed to keep the inlaws entertained so we postponed a honeymoon for a few months!

Trust me now I wish we had gone. I am exhausted!

But I can't wait to go!!!! :)

I am sure everyone heard about all the flooding in Yorkshire. All of Chris' family live in Rotherham...there were here while everyone in Yorkshire was swimming. Fourtunatly their houses are all fine. The town isn't but they are all good!!

I see - September will be a better time to go - cooler and with fewer tourists at the National Parks!

I just did another Southwestern Loop with a friend from Australia - LA-Vegas-North Rim of the Grand Canyon-Vermillion Cliffs-Bryce-Cedar Breaks-Zion-Vegas-LA. All in 5 days! Very scenic.

That kicks butt!! I need to travel with you!! How far really was Vegas from the Grand Canyon???

Well - both North and South rim are about 300 miles - we went to the North rim and it took about 4.5 hours (1 gas stop), about half of which was off the Interstate. I'd been to the South Rim years ago and I think I prefer the North - more scenic on the way, less people when you get there.

If you do go to the North Rim, I'd plan to eat dinner at the Lodge -- overlooks the canyon and very tasty food. And if want to spend the night near there, be sure to book ahead!
