i have to give my medical exam here in Bahrain for CR1 visa

And what if I don’t have that?

You need to find out if any missing vaccinations will be administered at the exam.  It might be at an additional cost as well

YMMV

This is something the medical clinic will do.

They’ll check your history and vaccinate you right there if you’re missing anything.  Provide whatever history you have to them if you can.

Missing one?  Or several?  They got a whooooole cooler full of them.

Here is a handy list of the vaccines required, with the appropriate age group. So, look at whatever age group you belong to, then follow the list down to see what is required.

In my case, we called the hospital that will do the medical exam before we received the interview notification, to check if they would administer the required vaccines and to ask any general questions. I would recommend doing the same, and open up with "I'm in the US Visa process looking for information on the medical" so they can better help you, since I think all designated hospitals are also regular hospitals, not just visa medical ones.

For what it's worth, the hospital here does not administer vaccines, so we got the ones that were missing (and proof of receiving the vaccines--important!), and will bring everything to the appointment.

Hey

i went through the list and it was really helpful

so I’m not going to wait for my interview letter,  i’ll just call them and ask them about the required vaccine and get it before the medical exam

do you have any idea about ‘if covid vaccine is on the list or not’

Lemme know please

thank you ☺️

We did the same, called them before we got a date/letter. You don't need a scheduled interview to get questions answered.

The covid vaccine is not on the list yet. You can ask when you call, but I think that it's not available enough globally for the CDC to put it on the list. You'll likely see it there as soon as it becomes policy (if/when), but I probably wouldn't worry about that happening before your medical.
