The status on your certificate won’t affect your petition.  My cert says divorced and I successfully petitioned my fiancée to a K-1 visa and a 2 year green card.  I’ve no intention of having my certificate updated.  And don’t need to update it.

And it isn’t a matter of what you want on your cert.  It’s a matter that the status changed.  It was late breaking info to USCIS.  So USCIS had to get it right.  Hence the drama.

And yes failure to disclose at interview could be considered a material omission. So you did the right thing.  And this is why you weren’t approved on the spot. And it is no big deal. Congrats.

okay I got E-mail this morning 'USCIS took action on your case' but getting 500 error when logging in.

It appears to me you are a semi-professional worrier and there is nothing anyone can say and do to assuage your doubts. In any case nothing anyone here will tell you is going to change the facts of the case. You will either be approved or denied, you will find out sooner than later. Just try to go about your business as best as you can, what will be will be.

At this point from the exhibits you are posting and what most people here are telling you which I agree with, you have been approved and going through Quality Assurance. End of story.

Of course you are free to keep worrying, it is your prerogative after all. 😀

Just another random guy from the internet with an opinion, although usually backed by data!

Just login directly to your online account, you should see the new action. I think the link expired.

Haha yes you are right. I had some really bad immigration experience, so I think I'm bit pessimist in that sense.  But I know it will happen when it has to happen. I'm relaxed now compared to yesterday when office try to grill me with my marriages, divorce dates etc. And thanks to everyone in the forum, I feel much better sharing with ya'll.

Houston office is the worst!!!  What a nightmare it was for us.

I dread when my husband applies for citizenship here in Houston.

Best Wishes.

I don't know how you can interpret this as anything other than approval. Take a deep breath, OP. You've made it. 🥳

The rest of the details will fall into place in time.

👐

Patience......patience.
