Well, just do not attend the interview.

My apologies that you had to go through this.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

In regards to the approved I-129f, there is nothing that you need to do.

It would be best to have your ex-fiancee withdraw the petition to end everything rather than do nothing and leave it open.

Will this affect any future applications with the US government?

It's unlikely to affect future applications.

If you were to try for a visitor visa right now, it may be harder because it could be viewed as a way to skip the K-1 and get to the US to marry and adjust status.

I wasn't planning on applying for any visas this year, other than a student visa as I was going to go to college after my marriage.

You haven't yet even applied for a visa.  You were the beneficiary of a petition.   Not sure why you would have been applying for a student visa after your marriage.

YMMV

I wasn't going to apply for a student visa. My former future wife and I were applying for a master's degree at a US college. Now I am going to have to apply for a student visa since we're not together anymore. I don't know if that makes sense.

Are you already accepted by the program you applied for?

Not yet but I guess I'll have to figure that out with the school.

I'm not your friend and I didn't ask for your advice. You don't know what happened. Please be considerate.

You will also need evidence of the funds to cover your tuition and expenses in full.
