You don't give enough information to give a precise answer. I understand that health issues are highly personal so don't air them in the forum (you don't need to). There are certain illnesses that are grounds for inadmissibility that apply to the beneficiary (your husband I assume) but as far as I know this does not apply to the USC.

Can you apply being in disability? I think so - but you will need a co-sponsor that meets the poverty requirements (100% over poverty line).

Your husband's credentials have little bearing in the visa process -and they will need to be assessed when he comes to the US and tries to work )IF he works on a regulated profession, say: teaching in the K-12 system, engineering, etc.).

Again, you give very little info, so I am not sure what else can I tell you that helps.

Good luck, L.

You have not been clear enough about your situation to be sure of a reliable answer. However, to bring your husband here, a US Citizen sponsor with sufficient income or assets is required. If you have disability income, and it is sufficient and long term. you can be the sponsor. If not, you'll need a co-sponsor to bring him here on a K3 visa and then a "joint sponsor" to adjust status to permanent resident. (green card).

Hello there,

Any which way you chose, CR1 or K3, once your husband will come to the US you will have to sponsor him, he can also bring some bank account, statement, etc showing maybe his fortune or that he has enough money to support himself for a while, a good letter from his current employer, with the yearly statement of his salary, his savings, etc will be helpfull too. If you don't make enough money, then you will have to ask for a co-sponsor.

Hope that helps,

A.
