K1 applicant changed her last name by signing the marriage certificate using her new last name.

She filled out all of the AOS forms using her new last name so her green card will be in her new last name.

her foreign passport is still in her maiden name and will remain as such. Is this a problem?

I'm assuming she can carry her marriage certificate with her whenever she travels internationally. Please advise if anything else should be done. thank you

She only need to use her green card when she reentry USA, all information about name change etc should be in homeland security system already. So in this case I won't worry about her name change issue.

Will the airport personnel at the origin know what a valid marriage certificate from each state look like? Will they allow a person with no visa in her passport to show a green card (or in our case AP) with a different name to board the flight?
