Timeline

There are countries where fraud is almost non-existent, and one can easily obtain a visa. There are countries that have a high incidence of fraud, and the Consuates will be very careful in issuing visas after alot of background checks and proofs. And there is Nigeria........

I finally got rid of the never ending money drain. I called the plumber, and got the problem fixed. I wish her the best.

what other consulates are considered 'high fraud'? is albania one of them?

judging by that rule, id safely say that albania can be put in the 'yes' column

09/2006 - Apply for K1

03/2007 - K1 approved

04/2007 - Apply for AOS & EAD

07/2007 - EAD approved

01/2008 - Conditional Residency approved

11/2009 - Apply to remove conditions

02/2010 - Permanent Residency approved

11/2010 - Apply for Citizenship

03/2011 - Citizenship approved

07/2011 - Moved back to Brazil

WORKED FOR US!!!!! :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs: There are quite a few who have gotten visas thru the Lagos Embassy in the past year... Visajourney is the best place to find all the needed information!!!!! I like Zeenusah's and YuAndDan's suggestion all I can say is read, read and do more reading. GOOD LUCK to your friend which ever route they desire to take.

We made it through but it was not easy for us we had a few bumps. Others have sailed through with no trouble at all, and still others have had LOTS of trouble, with Nigeria one never can tell what will happen. Good luck to your friend what ever the decision.
