Good Afternoon Awesome VJ family-

 

SO we submitted 485, 130, 131, 765, 2 x864, e notification, medical to Chicago per the USCIS website via UPS on May 2nd.

 

UPS says it was delivered.

Hopefully we'll get the text notification soon.

 

I'm not sure how this  works now. 

 

I'm 95% sure we did everything correct, payments, paperwork etc...

 

How do we know if everything is good to go and there are no issues with the paperwork? My husband is authorized to stay until June 25th. Will we hear from USCIS before then?

 

If there are issues do we get a chance to correct them or will my husband fall into unauthorized stay while we correct them?

 

Just wondering what happens. maybe i'm paranoid.

Once all the applications are accepted, you will get a notice of action (NOA) stating that.

Thanks, so as long as it was mailed off before my husband's last day of authorized stay (regardless if it's sent back, or any issues) he'll be able to stay?

 

I don't think there are issues, I just like to plan on worst case scenario.

He needs the I-485 receipt notice as proof of authorized stay while his AOS is pending.  If the I-485 package gets rejected, he will not get a receipt notice, and will need to re-submit the corrected package ASAP.  Until he gets the receipt notice, he should keep a low profile and avoid any brushes with law enforcement.
