Hello Everybody!

I am Peruvian. I got DQ'd on July 11th, 2020. My husband works for the U.S. Army and got orders to move to Germany. I have the SOFA card to move in with him and just found out I can change the interview location. My case is still at the NVC and here in Peru the U.S. Embassy is moving really slow. I'd like to know if changing location will modify my case in any way. Thank you!

Before you initiate case transfer, I suggest you first send an expedite request to NVC based on your husband's overseas deployment order.  Many embassies consider this a good reason for expedite.

If you don't have time to wait even for an expedited interview in Peru, just notify NVC regarding your upcoming move to Germany and request that they route your case to Frankfurt instead.

You're welcome!  Make sure to send NVC a copy of your husband's deployment orders with your expedite request.  Good luck!
