IR5 category waiting for expedited review NVC

I requested for an expedite from NVC for my parents they’re in the Dominican Republic. Does anyone knows how long is it take for they to respond?

i send it on April 10th and on April 24 they sent me an email saying that it was under review and I’m still waiting 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm in the same boat, sent mine on April 15th, got the email saying they are reviewing it on April 30th and haven't gotten any decision yet, called NVC and they said they forwarded the expedite to the Embassy on April 30. We are IR5 Dominican Republic as well.

 

Our PD is July 3, 2020

NVC received April 8, 2021

Documents submitted on April 14.

I would like to know if I can expedite my parents case. They are old and alone in the country with no one to take care of them, Can I expedite the case so they can be here with me and I can take care of them ?
