I have not tried yet to register it. It says in there to write the DS-260 number. I can't seem to figure out where I can find that. Where did you guys find it?

Go on ceac site and find the IV application you filled out. At the end of the application you can find the number and either print or email the confirmation page.

oh yeah. they shouldnt be processing any other visas except the IR's CR's and K's. everything else should of been temporary canceled. but i still see some getting through. there are guidelines that have been set. prioritizing by tiers and that puts the IR's CR's and the K's. but as we all know the IR's goes before any other visa. so why is it taking so long for the IR's to get an appointment for interview?

@DAgg @shosholala @At175 Seems like for June the Albanian embassy processed 108 IR5 parent visa interviews. I thought they would have most likely scheduled more IR1/CR1 visas. Does this mean that in general, there are more parent visas waiting to be processed or just that the embassy is prioritizing parent visas more than spousal visas? It makes me think that there aren't that many actual visa applications for spouses but more for parents and that is why the IR1/CR1 visa interview numbers are low every month..

Hope it's ok to ask a process question here. We are post DQ waiting for IR-1 interview. What comes first... NVC email with the interview date or notification that the case is in transit to the Consulate?

We only got the interview letter.  We didn't get an email about our case being in transit.  We only found out from checking our case status on CEAC.

Ok! Thank you. The interview letter is an email, correct? I can only find K-1s waiting for interviews in Auckland this month so I have no point of comparison for the IR1 process past DQ. The K1s seemed to wait at NVC for about 3 weeks before being sent to the Consulate.

is in regards to those people wjho are getting interviews that are not IR's. the immigration has set tiers to know which visa class has priority. before any other visa class. IR's are to get interviews first. according to the prioritizing of the 4 tiers. after the IR's are done then the CR's then the K's. tourist visa are temporary canceled same with employment visas. so i dont know what these embassies are doing giving interviews to other visas unless there are no other visas except that one they let go
