Hey everyone! Does anyone have any information on spousal visas for green card holders? My friend has a green card and his wife has been waiting for a while to hear back from the embassy but nothing so far! If you know anyone in the same position, or any news from the embassy, would be great help!!

THANK YOU!!

I believe there is a limit on the number of visas the embassy releases for green card holders.

Thank you for the response! They are DQ-ed and current and the only thing they are waiting for is the interview.

So we were just wondering if anyone else current got approved from the embassy and their timeline! Just so they have an idea. They have been waiting for the interview for a year and a half almost. :(

Ohh i thought you were already DQ.

No it was just what was on the checklist (i don’t remember everything they asked for but i know they needed w2s, a birth Certificate no older than a year that showed current marital status and any relevant court documents).

Hi iris128,

How did your interview go?

Hi everyone,

Has anyone submitted their ID from Albania (leternjoftim) as part of their required documents for NVC (civil documents)? If not was it requested by NVC as a RFE later on?

@At175@DAgg Hello! have you guys received your physical green cards yet?

Did you submit your local ID as part of NVC's documents?

Yes the Albanian one - Ok good thank you so much for confirming! I was worried they needed that as part of the documents.
We just submitted the birth and marriage certificate, along with the police certificate and the receipt of "deshmi penaliteti" which went directly to the embassy. These were our civil documents.
