So we were transfered to CSC and are still in limbo waiting infinitely it seems. Our concern is that we did not apply for AP originally thinking it would not be necessary (and trying to save a little cash), but now that this is AOS business is taking much longer than anticipated we are concerned we'll be stuck with out a GC for the long haul with no way to leave the country. It would be preferable to apply for AP before the fees go up if we are going to do it at all, but it would be even better if they would just approve the case and send us the dang GC.

Any advice. I just don't want to see my husband stuck in limbo for even longer with no way to go and visit family if he wants to or if there is an emergency and he needs to.

Thanks

My guess would be that you will probably receive the GC fairly soon from looking at your timeline.

If you were transferred to CSC, you will most likely get approved, without an interview.

Good luck that you get the GC soon.

Thanks

We applied for all three and were fortunate to have a speedy AOS.

However we were in a panic the whole time wishing we had some movement on the AP, because BB has a 96 year old mother and three kids in the UK.

The day after we had the green card in hand, we were advised that mother was in hospital after suffering a heart attack and possibly stroke. BB landed in the UK this morning.

SO, my advice is, if you have family over there, get an AP asap.
