One "public" concern is what will happen to the 50 billion dollar foundation. I am sure it is going to work out, but I have a few friends using foundation grants that are absorbing the news.

She is refusing spousal support even though she is entitled to it under her prenup. But then she is in a position to do so. 

 

I did read today that there was a provision in their prenup for Bill to go on a vacation every year with his ex-girlfriend. I am a pretty open minded person but that would not have been something I could have agreed to in my current prenup.

Okay, I must correct myself. They had no actual prenup but they had an agreement about the ex girlfriend. But she was entitled to the support so I'm guessing Washington is a community property state too. 

 

I keep dwelling on this ex thing. I'm trying to imagine a universe where my husband would want to hang out on a beach with any of the ones I know. When he went to visit his daughter last year at Christmas, he stayed in the guest room at his ex wife's house and she put him to work nearly immediately, painting walls and trim. Not a day at the beach!

Confirmed we are community property state in WA. I can also confirm firsthand that Bill is a terrible driver not that anyone asked.
