I had to double check you meant Perth, Australia -- my husband's family lives about 30 miles from Perth (Scotland) and I was quite worried, even if it might relieve me of an occasionally meddling MIL.

The remnants of Long March 5B rocket reportedly landed in the Indian Ocean on Sunday -- late Saturday night Eastern U.S. time -- after its uncontrolled descent was tracked around the world over the past week.

 

CZ-5B R/B had an estimated landing area of 72.47°E longitude and 2.65°N latitude, just west of the Maldives in the Indian Ocean, China's National Space Agency said in a post on WeChat.

From what I observed last night online there were plenty of people that filmed it streaking and breaking up in the Middle East. They say it re-entered somewhere there, broke apart, and then went somewhere into the Indian Ocean, although the coordinates we gave out were actually the middle of a desert in Saudi Arabia. So either it's in the ocean or the Saudi's have it.
