awwww yes many of us wished we could be there for our SO's interview, I mean being a few feet away is much better than waiting for a phone call at 2am! yay great to hear!

Then you can enjoy the rest of your time together without having to worry about the interview :)

Oh LOVE the shirt, my fiance's name was/is a direct hit hehe...

yeah but it'll majorly blow the week if they deny him for whatever reason!!!:blink:

Can you imagine how bad ti would be if he was denied and you were home? You woul dbe desperately trying to figure out what happened, what was said, what to do....Now the worse will be if he has some problem with the interview and you will be there to deal with it. Doesn't Cairo allow the spouse to attend the interview?

Do you anticipate some problems? or is this like your thread about Airplane disasters before your last rrip to Egypt? BTW sicne you are flying again soon, is it time to start a "let thing of all the things that can go wrong so I can deal wtih flying" thread again??? When do you leave?

Cairo is funky.....sometimes they allow the spouse and sometimes no so I guess it's a toss up but at least I'll be able to see him while he's at the window. :)

Do I anticipate some problems? Sista friend let me introduce myself!!! hahaha. I always anticipate problems!!!!!!! There isn't anything that I *know* of that could deny us at all though, but who knows, ya know? I am 7 years older than him so maybe that will be a red flag but other than that we have no specific things that could set it off. I just always think of the worst. I have a panic disorder so it's just what I do I guess. :energetic:

And no it's too soon for that thread about flying. I'd rather do that about 5 days prior. :P:P But now I can throw a few car bomb at the airport scenarios in for good measure to top off the scene where I get sucked out of the airplane via the emergency exit door that suddenly blows upen!!!!! :goofy::goofy:

:lol::lol: well i am already preparing some post ideas for the worst case airplane situations. I won't joke about the interview thought- too superstitious! Don;t worry about the age gap...that gets so much attention here we always worry about it and it is not the cause of the problems. I'veonly seen it be a factor when there are other more serious issues. (F)

Well if he actually got the visa at the interview it would be a first in Cairo!! I don't think anyone's ever ever done that and I don't think they're capable of it since it's an automatic that a muslim man in his mid 30's will get profiled and sent for AR/AP checks. Would be freaky if they called him the day before I left to pick it up though. lol. I don't think he'd be able to fly home with me anyways since he has a good month or two of things to wrap up at home first but that would be awesome to fly home together. I can dream I guess.
