Going to US after NOA2 approval

Hi,

Just need some advice.

I have booked my flight to go over on the 12th of May to Indy to see my fiancee graduate on the Sunday. (also its her birthday)

I will only be staying for a week but have read on here a few times of people being turned away. Anyone got any advice or done this before.

I think it would break my fiancee's heart if i was turned away and not able to see her graduate.

You need as much proof as possible that you have ties with your home country and intend to return eg utility bill, letter from employer, proof of mortagage if you have one. Oh and a copy of the invite to your Fiances graduation might help too. It really is up to the discretion of the POE officer. Many have done it without problems and a few have been turned away.

I am going to take my contract that i have with the compnny that I work for. As i am self employed contractor and the contract is legal binding. Also my rent agreement with the appartment i am staying in which is untill aug this year. Hopefully i catch them on a good day!

Im typing this FROM the US so you can see I didnt have an issue

As an e-ticket holder I didnt have my return ticket BUT Iprinted off my Itinery before I left which celearly shows the return flight and the POE guy was happy with that.

Also, take a copy OF the NOA-2, as this will say "forwarded to NVC, to forward to London Embassy"; any questions from POE officious, you can then explain, "I'm going to have to return to UK--leaving US--for the visa interview anyway".
