Hello everyone!

Just want to update my timeline. I have filed for EAD expedite via Emma (type "live chat" in the chat with Emma and select "Case status" then the system will connect you to a live chat with representative). I told the rep that I am currently under financial hardship in order to request expedition. Not sure if they will ask for additional evidence but will keep everyone updated if anything comes up!

AOS packet sent: 5/3/2021
NOA1 received: 5/27/2021
Bio Appt: 8/12/2021
Case is ready for interview: 8/17/2021
EAD expedite request: 9/8/2021
Expedite request received: 9/9/2021

any news??

Yeah I send my expedite request to CA congressman office, attached with an active job offer as well.

You should check your local congressman, call them and ask them to send you immigration assistance form ( or privacy release form) you’ll need it to expedite your case. Good luck!

Filed first week of May. Biometrics done 08/03/21. Sept 16 i-485 case status changed to "Interview was scheduled". This is oddly fast, im so happy.

2 weeks ago we called uscis to expedite the EAD but instead i-485 case status changed to "interview was scheduled".

We had our interview yesterday and was approved. Case status says "New card is being produced". Field officer says card will be delivered in 7-10 days.

Ours still says "Fingerprint Fee was Received" although we have done the fingerprinting on August 20th.  Depending on your service center, an interview could be a very long ways away.  1+ year is not uncommon.  Youll most likely receive the AP/EAD in the mail much sooner.

Our status changed today (Oct 22) to "Interview was Scheduled."  From the timing of everyone else, it looks like the interview could be 3-4 weeks from now.  Just seems awfully fast considering there is up to a 24 month wait for AOS out of the Pittsburgh Field office.

The United States is now a country obsessed with the worship of its own ignorance.  Americans are proud of not knowing things.  They have reached a point where ignorance, is an actual virtue.  To reject the advice of experts is to assert autonomy, a way for Americans to insulate their increasingly fragile egos from ever being told they're wrong about anything.  It is a new Declaration of Independence: no longer do we hold these truths to be self-evident, we hold all truths to be self-evident, even the ones that arent true.  All things are knowable and every opinion on any subject is as good as any other.  The fundamental knowledge of the average American is now so low that it has crashed through the floor of "uninformed", passed "misinformed", on the way down, and now plummeting to "aggressively wrong."

Did you send just the job offer and a letter explaining your situation to the congressman? What did you base the request on please? I want to expedite mine and I have no idea on where to begin.

No, havent reached out to them at all.  I485, I131, and I765 were submitted last week of May, biometrics were August 20th and today USCIS site changed to "Interview was scheduled."  This is an office with a estimated wait time for I-485 of 12-26.5 months, with family based AOS applications being reviewed for August 20, 2019.  It just seems fast or maybe the interview was booked for 2023, but my understanding is once the "interview was scheduled" appears, its 3-4 weeks out.

  1.

Recept date for a case inquiry

  2. 10 Months to 18.5 Months
    Employment-based adjustment applications
    April 19, 2020
  3. 12 Months to 26.5 Months
    Family-based adjustment applications
    August 20, 2019

They do not schedule interviews for 2023 yet usually when you receive that notification it means your interview will be in the coming month (3 to 4 weeks after), I'm with the Newark field office I hope they do something similar to my case or at least send me my EAD soon haha!

My husbands interview got scheduled! December 9th! Just randomly looked one day and his status was changed to interview scheduled. Being patient and keeping yourself busy has been super helpful to get us to stop thinking about this process.
