My husband case is DQ from nvc

Hi there 

I’m from srilanka. My spouse  case accepted from nvc.

on April 9th 2021 .I got email Thats DQ from nvc.

so after this how long my spouse  have to wait for interview? Now 3 wks completed

I am waiting in same category (F2) in same processing center - California (I am from India) and DQ since Nov'2020. Its been 10+ months, I have been waiting... I have also seen cases waiting for a year and half... Good Luck !!

I am waiting since Nov'2020 but no interviews schedule yet. There is approximately 10-30 months backlog (Depending upon processing center and visa category) for interviews as there are more than 500000 cases pending in the backlog. 

 

If you tell me about your Visa category & processing center, I can give you better analysis and can help you know when to expect an interview approximately.

Processing Center : California have huge backlogs upto 32 months. Currently they are working on petitions that were received on or after Jan 31st 2019. Good Luck !

Haven't you messed up USCIS processing time and the Consulate backlog? After DQ the only matter which is relevant is the backlog for the particular consulate. Some of those were open during the pandemic and have almost no backlog while others are still close and proceeding only expedited requests.
