I just received the same notice today. I’m also from CA, but filed in August.

It’s good to see movement on this from WAC - before the last couple days, the only people I’d seen who’d received the 24-month notice were people who’d originally filed a year ago or more.

For those who’ve received it - is it 24 months from the expiry date printed on conditional green card (so +6 months added to the original 18-month extension)?

Hopefully we’ll see some movement from the other service centres soon, though I expect mine (YSC) to be among the last. If anyone from YSC gets theirs, please let us know!

Yes it’s from the expiration date of the card, so plus 6 months from the original 18 month form

I applied on 5/28/21 NOA1 date 6/04/21

CR1

applying from NY

case number starts with MSC

When can i expect to receive the biometrics letter? Does it take one month? 3 months? 6 months ?  On what basis some peoples biometric is waived and some are not?

Biometrics done on 07/22/2021

Anyone else applying from NY with case number beginning with MSC? How long to wait for the next step?

You should have gotten the 24 month extension letter in the mail replacing the 18 months.

I am SRC. they probably won't send the 24 month letter because Texas is done within 10 months right now.

I have not received anything other than confirming they used previous fingerprints my online case status still says case was received.

I see. I thought they sent it to all who are still processing. Better for you then if you didn't need that extension.

Any update on SRC May 2021 fillers? Been stuck on Finger print updated since June..

Same for us, also SRC. Crossing all appendages that we hear something before the end of the year.

We did travel to the UK in October- my in-laws finally met their granddaughter! My husband traveled back on his 18m extension letter without any issues. Not that we expected to have issues,  but its always nice when everything goes smoothly.
