We had our biometrics appt this past Thursday. Just waiting to hear if we will do the interview or not. Our status online still says Notice 1 back in Early May was sent lol so they are working just not updating the online cases. 😅

Thanks for the update! So despite coming over on a K-1 and adjustment of status 2 years ago with biometrics they didn't wave it and made you do a biometrics appt again?

wondering if anyone in May filers has received anything from SRC the last month. Us June filers haven't seen anything (even biometrics waivers) come out of SRC since the first 2 weeks of June... almost like everything stopped out of SRC since then.

Update re: SRC -- things are progressing again. My biometrics letter was on Informed Delivery today and I think I can see wording that says it is being waved. A friend I met through visajourney is also SRC and filed the same day as me and also saw her biometrics letter in the mail. We both filed mid-June.

Yep maybe it's a location  thing. But I'm  near Atlanta so they had everyone in and out. Maybe they waive people in areas that can't support the volume of people due to covid and staffing. Biometrics were done at the same speed as pre-covid thank goodness lol. Everyone  was all smiles and our appt was at 6am! 🤣🤣 we were at the the back of the line and grabbed breakfast by 6:30am

Im in metro atlanta, I received my biometrics today for my removal of conditions (submitted end of may). My biometrics are waved (using my previous fingerprints) my case is being processed with SRC (Texas). I think it all depends how the fingerprints were on the first time, if they are clear online for the case manager etc... I don't think its something to do with location unless its location as in processing center.

Did you check both myuscis and egov websites?

Usually it should update within 24 hours on at least one of them

Yep I've checked and both still only show the initial May update.🥲 lol

Anyone who’s mortgage not on their name? We’re living with in-laws, house is owned by MIL, even utility bills. No lease agreement too, we just share with mortgage and bills.  I’m still sending it but worried..

I am not sure but I have read in one of the posts that you can give affidavit letters or normal letters signed by your MIL that you are living with them. Also other proofs such as bank statement, insurance letter address, 401k statement address will be the same, driving License copies of you and your spouse having same address. etc.

I am sure any senior will be guide you more correctly.

Anyone else get their biometrics letter in the mail and the online Case status (when entering case number) still says "Case was received...." It has yet to update since receiving the NOA Letter. I also never receive email/text updates on my case. Just want to understand if this is the norm or if this is something on my end only.

I think inconsequent actions are consequent when dealing with USCIS. I started a thread some weeks ago in this sub-forum because I was stressed of a similar thing:

I got my rescheduled biometrics done like a month ago, but yet the latest case status still says Name Was Changed (they fixed my extension letter which was originally sent with my name misspelled) 🙉

Getting there, slowly but surely...  (I hope )

Together (well...mostly the Transatlanticism kind of together) Since 12/2013

CR-1:

Married in Sweden 8/2017
(Well Frontloaded) I-130 Sent 12/2017
CR-1 Approved 10/2018
POE LAX 01/11/2019

I-751:

I-751 Package Sent with UPS 11/11/2020
I-751 Received by the AZ Lockbox 11/13/2020
I-751 Check Cashed 12/31/2020
I-797 (with My Last Name Misspelled...) Received by Mail 1/2/2021

Biometrics Appointment Received by Mail...too bad I am in Europe right when it's supposed to take place 🤯 6/14/2021

Rescheduled Biometrics Appointment, the biometric technician can't change the misspelled name on file, but he enters the correct spelling of my last name as an alias 8/2/2021

Interview Ready to Be Scheduled 10/13/2021

(Two Days Later) Interview Was Scheduled 😱 10/15/2021

I-751 Interview, Petition Approved 🥳 11/19/2021

Case Status Changed to New Card Is Being Produced 11/19/2021

Case Status Changed to Case Was Approved 11/22/2021

Green Card Arrived in the Mail (Name Correctly Spelling, w00t) 11/27/2021

When USCIS Misspells Your Name:

Typographical error form filled on USCIS website 1/4/2021
Contacted USCIS if there has been any progress since THEIR error (Received a Tier 1 tracking number) 2/6/2021
Contacted USCIS again as the issue remains to be resolved (Received ANOTHER Tier 1 tracking number) 3/12/2021
Apparently USCIS chat is worthless; CALLED USCIS, Tier 1 agent promised that a Tier 2 agent would call me 4/28/2021
Received a call from a nice Tier 2 officer who said I may or may not get a correct extension letter, but just in case I would be scheduled an InfoPASS appointment 5/4/2021
Went to local USCIS service center and had to deal with a nasty and entitled customer service agent who refused to give me an I-551 stamp. National Benefits Center is supposed to mail me another I-797 within 7-10 days... So I had to waste my day, taking buses for two hours one-way just to deal with this lady's attitude? 5/7/2021

After anxiously monitoring our mailbox for a few days I DID receive a corrected I-797, w00t! All documents good to go Vaccinated Ready to visit my parents in Europe for the first time in 17 months!!  5/13/2021

The lesson: Don't use the chat for anything complicated, AND keep hassling USCIS for a response...
