Hi All.

There's a very strange thing that happened. USCIS mailed the I797 noa notice twice to me.

They are exactly the same, the only difference is that the noa date is 6/4 and the other is 6/11

Not sure if anyone encounter the same thing?

I751:

Mailed: 3th May 2021

Delivered: 5th May 2021

Rejected due to missing signature: 26th May 2021

Resend: 26th May 2021

Delivered: 28th May 2021

Just going through I-751 now as well as a May filer.  Here's the timeline so far:

May 21 sent I-751 package via FedEx, exactly 90 days before green card expiration date of Aug. 19, 2021

May 24 delivered to USCIS Phoenix

May 25 USCIS received

June 1 filed change of address online with USCIS

June 2 I-797 notice date and mailed same day, text message sent

June 3 check cashed

June 7 I-797 received via USPS (forwarded to new address) extending green card to Feb. 19, 2023

June 11 applied for new driver's license with expiration date extended to Feb. 19, 2023

June 18 received new driver's license with new address and expiration date Feb. 19, 2023

So they seem to be moving along pretty well, at least in sending the I-797s in a timely manner.  Biometrics and interviews are taking forever these days, we're planning on at least 18 months, maybe longer and if so will get a stamp in the passport, and will start on the N-400 process next May.

Good luck everyone!

I assume there’s no justification why CA/NV always get WAC. I had a K1 interview per pre-covid norm. It’s not work load I’m sure of it but I’ll sure come back and inform I have WAC. It’s one of the slowest so..it is what it is 🙄

Congrats

Did you ever receive waiver biometrics notification online?

Biometrics waiver is arriving in the mail today. Just saw it on informed delivery and the address window is too big so we can see the text "USCIS is able to reuse your previously captured fingerprints and other...." then it cuts off.

So our timeline so far:

Delivered: May 12th

NOA dated: May 24
Check cashed: May 26th

Text received: May 27th
NOA received: June 1st (Assigned to Texas)
Biometrics letter: June 21st

Well, it didnt actually arrive. USPS either "forgot" to deliver it, or misdelivered it. I am so over USPS and their lack of care with everything. Since we started keeping track in mid-April, this is the fourth important item they've messed up (we still  have three international packages we've sent at the end of April and May allegedly sitting in the Kansas City distribution center).

Imagine if there was actually an appointment being scheduled for biometrics. They would have potentially screwed us.

It is assigned by location mostly. North-east usually is EAC, south usually SRC. If you are in California it usually goes to WAC, which is the California service center. It would not make sense to assign California cases to Texas and Texas cases to California. Cases that require interview are assigned to NBC.

I had in in my informed delivery on a monday and I was freaking out but then it came on tuesday. Only reason they didn't put it in is because I had a package in the mailbox that would have possibly kept the door open or ruin the letter so she waited until the next day, She doesn't like delivering anything to the doorstep so she just waits till the next day. It says you can only report something not delivered until 7 days after you receive the informed delivery email.

Yes this makes sense. I’ve seen many times people say it’s assigned per load base. Unless interviewed all in CA will be assigned in WAC, like Las Vegas. Can’t wait to verify that when I get my case number and know I’m assigned to theee slowwwwwest service centre. I know it’s based on location WAC!! This will show it’s not based on base loads as others preach about!!!!! At least people will know it’s location and absolutely not work load-no one in Vegas (not requiring interview) gets any other Center aside from WAC. I tell it is as it is 🤣
