Do you know if I can use the courtesy copy  to renew my license at DMV? My lawyer has the original copy..

@Keiko2325

I would imagine that the DMV would like to see the original. I am also thinking that you will need the original to re-enter the United States if you travel abroad. Maybe others can weigh in but I would personally prefer to have the original.

In GA my husband was able to use a copy. They just make a copy of it anyway.

@Lebanese23, I do not think any May filers have gotten it yet. Several April filers started getting waivers, though. It might depend upon the service center, too. I have Potomac. (19 to 24.5 months I think).

@faycher, Nickandkat has not updated theirs. They'd said that on a different thread. If you already updated yours, then you are good to go.

My green card expires on August 27. My ROC package delivered earlier than expected and was delivered on May 27. According to the calculator USCIS has in their website, i could file starting May 29. My credit card still has not been charged nor have I received anything in the mail or text. Do you guys think they would reject it so close to the date I can file? I see people whose packages were delivered around that date already got an update.

Figured i’d ask for your input.

If it got there before the 90 day window opened, then it most likely will be rejected. Exceptions may occur but are extremely rare.
