I have the same delivered date too. Credit card was authorized for the full amount on Thursday 6/3 late evening but no text or email yet...

Don't worry. Its a system generated text so it may take time or sometimes fails to deliver to us.

Your credit card was charged means your file is accepted. Wait for I-797 letter. (Make sure you sign up for USPS informed delivery via USPS website)

Just to confirm , Have you sent G-1145 form with file for receiving text and email ?

Yep, I did. I agree, the fact that the card was authorized seems to be a good sign.

Here's my timeline so far:

May 15th: sent with USPS

May 21st: received by USCIS

May 30th: My credit card was charged

June 2nd: Text notification, no email notification

I still haven't received the extension letter. It's not in today's Informed Delivery either.

Did anyone else wait this long? Is it normal? I think if it's not in tomorrow's Informed Delivery, I'm going to try and call USCIS and see what they say. Do you guys think there's a chance they will give me stamp in my passport to hold me over? I'm starting a new job next week and really need the letter for the I9.

CR1 cases are normally routed to MSC even in they are in Texas.

Yeah, where they send the cases are not dependent on geographical location in the least. I live about 20 minutes from the NBC where MSC cases are processed (I used to drive by it on the way to work before I started working from home) and our file got routed to Texas.

Just a reminder that there is a tracking spreadsheet, so fill it out if you like- this makes it a lot easier to compare timelines.

April May and June are together (see tabs at the bottom).  There is also a tab for earlier groups (called "Sheets from Other Months") and you can see the progress of earlier months... Sept/Oct are starting to see some action.

I think it depends on the service center you are being processed at. I also think it depends how far that is from your home and how the USPS works near you, some places are slower than others. My letter is in my Informed delivery today, they cashed it on June 4th and I got a text on June 4th. The letter stamped on June 3rd. If you received a text you have a case number and you could use it to get a stamp if necessary. I screenshot the text incase I lost it and saved it as picture on my computer.

Do you happen to have a long address with apartment number?

@nickandkat your timeline is normal or at least, expected. I am thinking you will probably get your NOA/extension letter sometime this week or early next week. You mentioned your start date is 6/14 on a different post. I believe there is a 3 day rule/deadline to submit the I-9. Potentially, you may have until 6/17 to complete the I-9. This article explains it nicely. https://verifyi9.com/three-day-rule-hire-date/

Your NOA/extension letter is not lost. You could request the I-551 stamp but most likely the officer on the phone will decline to make an appointment for you at the local USCIS office.

Your letter is likely already in the mail. We got the text on 05/23 and the letter was dated and postmarked 05/20. It will be tight and stressful but honestly, you will be fine. You should be able to start your job next week.

Yes, I do have an apartment number. Maybe it's just a USPS delay.

My case number starts with LIN (btw, where can we see the estimated times for each center?)

Can I really use the case number to get an I551 stamp? Or is that unlikely to get approved?

I hope it's in tomorrow's mail.

You can look at processing times here. https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

Technically, an immigration officer would be able to look you up in the system, yes. But for that, you would need an appointment at your local USCIS office. To get one, you would have to call the general USCIS number and it is unlikely that the agent will agree to schedule an appointment for you at the local office.

Your letter is coming. Just be patient. That's my best advice.

Has anyone received a second notice stating that biometric is waived? I got it 3 days after my extension letter, wonder if this is normal or if USCIS is finally picking up speed.

Which service center? Some (SRC, LIN) are fairly fast at waiving biometrics whereas others are excruciatingly slow. Either way, good news!
