Never mind i see they are necessary :(

Passport style pics are not required. That's why there is a biometric fee. It's only been 2 years. Even on the i751 app on the 1st page there is no section at the top for it. Read the i751 instructions. On page 5. It tells you the two scenarios you will need to provide passport style pics for children etc.

I just received this from USPS Informed Delivery. Does this mean I’ve been assigned to the Potomac Service Center? I’m out of town until Monday evening, and forgot to file the electronic notification form, so this is the first I’ve heard since my I-751 package was delivered on May 15th. Any way of knowing if this is the NOA1 based on the image below?

Hi everyone!

Please I need your opinion. So my greencard is going to expire this 3rd of June and I sent my I751 on 05-24-21. Am I gonna get in trouble since I still don't have my extension letter while my greencard is expired? I mean correct me if I'm wrong but I was still able to send my papers within the 90 days window, right?

Please I am really anxious as to what will happen. Thank you so much in advance 😊

From a legal presence standpoint, you shouldn't need to worry. You followed rules and filed I-751 timely, which will preserve your lawful status while the petition is pending. If you need documentation of that in order to complete another task, and you can't wait for the NOA, you might need to contact USCIS and possibly seek a temporary I-551 stamp (not sure if they'll give you one for this purpose though).

@andjen0519, you are fine. My husband's green card expired on 5/7/2021. We mailed the I-751 package on 5/6/2021 and it arrived on 5/7/2021. It's all good. You just have to make sure that your package arrives before your green card expires. That's it. You will eventually get your NOA/Receipt and that is also your 18 month extension letter.
